WGN Radio - Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks

cs_wgncubs.gifWGN Radio is the number one news and talk station in Chicago. They are also the exclusive broadcast station for all Chicago Cubs games, and since 2008, for all Chicago Blackhawks games. Beginning in 1998, WGN Radio desired new introductory songs  to welcome in each Cubs broadcast.

Tukaiz was chosen to write, produce, and record the Chicago Cubs theme for all broadcasts on WGN Radio 7-2-0. Since 1998, Tukaiz has delivered catchy themes,  broadcast with every game. The songs are played about 35 minutes before the game, for the Cubs Central Pregame show, just before the national anthem and again at the game closing.

These jingles have gone through various themes through the years, such as; “GO, CUBS, GO on 720”, "Chicago, Chicago, Chicago Cubs", "Everybody Loves the Cubs!”, and "Cub, Cubby, Cubbies."

Tukaiz writes the music and lyrics, performs the instrumentation and records and produces the final tracks. The music genres have ranged from pop rock, to Caribbean and contemporary. All arrangements and final production are completed entirely on location at the Tukaiz sound studios. Win or lose one thing is for sure, everybody loves the Cubs!

McDonald’s Web To Print Solution

cs_mcd.jpg In 2007 one of McDonald’s biggest suppliers came to Tukaiz with the need to create a customizable web to print system for each franchise owner of McDonald’s 13,000 restaurant locations. The purpose was to allow franchise owners the ability to personalize McDonald’s corporate marketing materials and offer a selection of lobby banners and posters to promote career opportunities that are available at their specific McDonald’s restaurants. Franchise owners are given a catalog of marketing materials to choose from including banners, posters and window clings. Once they select an item, they can customize it by selecting corporate approved graphic design and copy, or by writing their own copy.

Harrah’s Casino Promo Videos

At Harrah's, large flat screen displays throughout the casino show news, sporting events, tv shows, and short promos highlighting upcoming events at the casino. Because the benefit of sound was not an option, these videos had to grab attention with visuals alone. In 2006, Harrah’s Joliet Casino & Hotel® approached Tukaiz with the task of producing these silent promo videos.
