Frank Defino, Sr. is founder of Tukaiz and continues as Chairman and CEO of the business today. Regarded as an integral member of the graphic arts industry, Frank is recognized by his peers as a pioneer in building a successful, multi-faceted media production business. His vision has set the benchmark by which the industry has evolved to. Along with Tukaiz, the Defino Enterprise companies provide professional and consumer goods and services on a global scale.

What’s in the name?

Tukaiz is pronounced (two-kays) and was the name of the company that was purchased by Defino. That small company was a father and son business who’s last names were Kirchner…hence the “2 K’s” for Kirchner and Kirchner, only spelled out as…Tukaiz. Frank kept the name because of its uniqueness and recognition in the marketplace at that time.
